Raymond will build a factory in Russia for 6, 6 mln USD. The French manufacturer of tiedown systems A. Raymond Group plans to invest 6, 6 mln USD to the construction of the factory, which will be situated in Dzerghinsk of Nighnij Novgorod district. As SupplierBusiness notes, the production at the new enterprise has to be started at the end of 2010.
The organization of production of automotive components in Dzerghinsk will place Raymond closer to consumers in Russia. �Foreign automotive concerns are interested in localization of components, the Russian ones � in suppliers with new technology and high quality of automotive components, that is why Raymond decided to enter this market�, - says the general director of OOO �A. Raymond RUS� Vladimir Zagorodnikov. The plastic and metal tiedown systems for Raymond�s cars (clamps, buttons, holders, connectors and etc.) are used for assembly of Volkswagen, Ford, General Motors in Russia; they are also delivered to AVTOVAZ, GAZ and UAZ.
