UAZ Patriot has the best residual value among domestic cars

As part of survey "Safety of the residual value of the car (Residual value)", the experts of "AUTOSTAT" agency identified 3-year-old models of Russian brands that have the best residual value in the 1st quarter of 2023. According to the results of the survey, by the results of the reporting period, this rating is headed by UAZ Patriot SUV, which is equipped with a 2.7-liter engine and a manual gearbox. Three years after the purchase made in Q1 2020, Residual value index for this model is 143.4% in average. Experts point out that owners of many 3-year-old domestic (as well as foreign) cars are currently able to sell them for more than the price they were bought for.

The reason is a sharp increase in car prices, which happened last spring. Further in this rating, several LADA models follow at once. Thus, the indicators of the residual value of LADA Largus Cross and LADA Largus station wagons (both have a 1.6-liter engine and manual gearbox) were 141.7% and 141.3%, respectively. Behind the Largus there is the station wagon LADA Vesta SW Cross (140.3%), which has the same power unit. The results of other domestic cars are below the 140% mark.
