The assembly of Sollers light commercial vehicles will be launched in Azerbaijan

On May 19, Sollers and Azermash companies signed a memorandum of cooperation in the production of Sollers light commercial vehicles at the facilities of Azermash enterprise in the Republic of Azerbaijan using components imported from Russia. In accordance with the memorandum, the parties also agreed to take measures to meet local demand, export cars and exchange specialists in the industrial assembly of vehicles between Russia and Azerbaijan, Sollers press service reports.

Recall that the production of light commercial vehicles under Sollers brand was launched at Sollers Alabuga plant in November 2022. The models were named Argo and Atlant, and JAC N25 / N35 and JAC Sunray models were taken as their basis. The design capacity of enterprise in the SEZ "Alabuga" is 85 thousand cars per year.
Sollers Atlant range of semi-cab layout includes a wide range of modifications with the ability to adapt to the needs of a particular client. A car with a gross weight from 2.5 to 4.2 tons can be equipped with a 139 hp diesel engine or 150 hp environmental class "Euro-5".

Argo is a compact cabover vehicle for intracity transportation, with the ability to drive into the center of large cities among its main advantages. The vehicle has a gross vehicle weight of 2.5 to 3.5 tonnes and is available with a 130 hp diesel engine or with a 147 hp petrol engine of environmental class "Euro-5". Both models are equipped as standard with air conditioning, audio system, driver and passenger airbags and an anti-lock braking system (ABS).
