Used cars became more expensive by 2% in May

The average price* of used car in May 2023 reached RUB 1,385,000. As experts of "AUTOSTAT" agency noted, this is 2% higher than in April. At the same time, in money terms, the rise in price was 28 thousand rubles.

If we compare May result with the one in January, then since the beginning of the year, the increase in prices for the "secondary" was equal to 5% (plus 70 thousand rubles). And in relation to the level of a year ago, i.e. by May 2022, used cars have risen in price by almost 15%, or by 176 thousand rubles.
