Updated crossover Geely Coolray enters the market

Geely has unveiled an updated Coolray crossover for the 2023 model year, which will hit the Chinese market in the near future. It is worth noting that this model is directly related to the generation of crossover that is relevant for Russia, writes Chinese Automobiles portal.

The appearance of restyled Coolray is distinguished by a new radiator grill, which is now made in the form of vertical slats, decorative contrasting elements along the bottom of the body, completely black rims and red brake calipers. And in the interior, all the visual changes in the updated Coolray were limited to a new interior color and seat upholstery.

However, the main change concerns the technical part of Geely Coolray: current 3-cylinder turbo engine was replaced by a fresh four-cylinder 1.5-liter engine, which was previously equipped with the second generation of Geely Coolray Cool crossover.

The new power unit has become a little more powerful - 181 hp and 290 Nm of torque. Thanks to this, the maximum speed of the car has increased - now it is 200 km / h. As a transmission with the engine, a 7-speed robotic gearbox with two "wet" clutches works. At the same time, as before, the updated Geely Coolray 2023 can use AI-92 gasoline.
