BAIC U5 Plus sedans appeared at Russian dealers

BAIC U5 Plus sedans began to appear at Russian dealers of the brand, although the official start of sales of model has not been announced yet. For cars in the Luxury configuration, they want 1 million 829 thousand 900 rubles, writes Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

Luxury version includes eco-leather seat upholstery, ABS, ESP, hill start assist, halogen headlights, 12.3-inch media system, 2-speaker radio, rearview camera, rear parking sensors, heated and power side mirrors (including folding), two airbags, air conditioning, digital instrument panel, 16-inch alloy wheels. Under the bonnet of the car, a non-alternative 1.5-liter gasoline engine with 113 hp is installed, which works in combination with a 5-speed "mechanics" or a variator.

The BAIC U5 Plus sedan has the following dimensions: 4660 mm long, 1820 mm wide and 1480 mm high with a wheelbase of 2670 mm. Ground clearance is 155 mm. McPherson struts are installed at the front, a semi-independent "beam" at the rear, all disc brakes. Under the bonnet of the car there is a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine (113 hp, 142 Nm), which can be refueled with AI-92 gasoline. The choice is a five-speed "mechanics" or a variator.
