Belarusian car market more than doubled in April 2023

Belarusian car market in April was 1,440 cars, which is more than 2 times higher than a year ago. According to the results of four months of 2023, 4,343 new cars were sold in the republic, according to the data of Belarusian Automobile Association (BAA).

Geely remains the undisputed sales leader in this republic, having sold 3,218 vehicles since the beginning of the year. The second place is occupied by Russian brand LADA with 371 sold cars. Third place is occupied by Audi, the result of which was 257 cars.

According to the BAA, a significant jump in sales is observed for Geely brand - this is due to the presence of a sufficient number of cars in dealerships and the expansion of the model range, and to an attractive offer to finance the purchase. It is also worth noting the active emergence of other Chinese brands, not previously represented in the Belarusian market, for example, EXEED, FAW, Skywell, which replace European brands and allow maintaining the level of supply for potential buyers in the automotive market.
