Crossovers BAIC X35 began to arrive at Russian dealers

BAIC X35 crossovers began to arrive at Russian dealers of the Chinese brand. So far, only cars with a manual transmission have appeared at a price of 1 million 698 thousand 900 rubles, Rossiyskaya Gazeta writes. Cars with a CVT (from 1 million 750 thousand rubles) are expected at dealers from May 15th.

Two gasoline engines will be available for BAIC X35: a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine (116 hp) in combination with a 5-speed manual gearbox, as well as a turbo engine of the same volume (150 hp) paired with CVT, front-wheel drive only. The standard equipment of BAIC X35 includes ABS, two frontal airbags, air conditioning, an 8-inch multimedia system, a 4-speaker audio system, a rear-view camera, rear parking sensors, 16-inch alloy wheels.

Recall that in early April, Avtotor began production of BAIC X35 crossover and U5 plus sedan, which will go on sale at a price of 1.7 million rubles. The next novelty of BAIC will be the frame SUV BJ40 Plus worth 3 million 759 thousand 900 rubles. By the end of the year 2023, Russian BAIC dealers will also have X7 and X55 crossovers, the BJ60 full-size frame SUV, and an electric car based on the U5 plus sedan. In general, according to the results of 2023, Avtotor plans to produce up to 30,000 BAIC vehicles.
