Moskvich plant increased car sales in April 2023

Moskvich plant sold 969 vehicles in April 2023, which is almost twice as much in compare with the previous month. About 500 crossovers of this number have already been registered, the press service of automaker reports. As noted, 513 cars were purchased by individuals, while 235 transactions were carried out under a special trade-in program. Sales to large corporate customers, as well as small and medium-sized fleets were 456 vehicles. In particular, Moskvich 3 crossovers have appeared in BelkaCar car sharing in the capital and are already available to users for rent.

It is worth noting that Moskvich plant launched the main conveyor in April, which will provide an increase in the productivity of assembly shop more than twice and means the start of preparations for the start of small-scale assembly. Meanwhile, as experts of "AUTOSTAT" agency reported with reference to the data of JSC "PPK"*, 473 Moskvich cars were sold in the Russian market in April, which is 26% higher than the figure for the previous month (375 units). Since the beginning of the year, Russian Moskvich dealers have sold 934 vehicles.
