AVTOVAZ increased sales 3.3 times in April 2023

AVTOVAZ sold 27,635 LADA passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in the Russian market in April, which is 3.3 times higher than a year before. According to the results of four months of 2023, Russian LADA dealers sold 91,875 cars, which is 50% higher than in the same period of the previous year, the press service of automaker reports.

LADA Granta remains AVTOVAZ's bestseller in April, the sales of which, according to the automaker's data, increased 7.7 times in compare with the previous year and reached 19,899 vehicles. As noted, this is the absolute sales record of Granta since the launch of the model in 2011.

The second place in the sales volume is occupied by SUV LADA Niva Travel with 3891 cars (3.2 times growth). LADA Niva Legend SUV was chosen by 3,391 buyers, which is 25.5% higher than a year before. As AUTOSTAT previously reported, in April AVTOVAZ started the sales of LADA Niva Travel KHL - a special series of off-road vehicles for hockey fans, which became the most equipped version of this model. In addition, LADA Granta cars with a 106 hp 16-valve engine went on sale, which is available for all body types of this model: sedan, liftback and Cross station wagon.
