In the last week of April, a record number of automotive vehicles was sold for the year

For the period from April 24 to April 30 (week 17), 2023, 24,719 new vehicles were sold in Russia. As experts of agency "AUTOSTAT" noted with reference to data of JSC "PPK"*, this figure is a record for the last year. Higher vehicle sales volumes were observed from the 7th to the 9th weeks of last year (over 30 thousand units), and starting from the 10th week (March 14-20, 2022) they were always lower. The highest result since then was recorded only at the end of the 13th week of 2023 - 23,817 units. As for the results of the last week of April (the 17th in a row), 78% vehicles sold during this period belonged to passenger cars (19,330 units). 13% belongs to trucks (3,182 units), about 8% belongs to LCVs (1,890 units). The remaining more than 1% are buses (317 units).
