Gorky car plant has May holidays

Gorky Automobile Plant has suspended the production during a planned corporate holiday, which will last from May 2 to May 5. This was reported to the agency "AUTOSTAT" in the press service of GAZ, by adding that separate divisions of the enterprise will function in order to carry out the maintenance of equipment scheduled for these days, repair and commissioning, which cannot be organized without production stopping. According to the results of the first quarter of 2023, 9269 light commercial vehicles of GAZ brand were sold in Russia, which is 25.2% lower in compare with the previous year, experts of the AUTOSTAT agency reported with reference to the data of JSC "PPK"*. As a result, GAZ remains the undisputed leader of the Russian LCV market with a 56.6% share.
