The share of legal entities in car sales reached 22%

In Q1 2023, 36.9 thousand new cars were sold to legal entities in Russia, which is 30% lower than in January-March 2022. This is reported by the experts of "AUTOSTAT" agency with reference to the data of JSC "PPK"*. At the same time, experts noted that the share of legal entities during this period was 22% of the total, and a year before this figure was 20%. Most often, for the last three months, corporate clients purchased LADA brand cars - 10.3 thousand units. Then Chinese Geely, Chery and Haval followed (4.4 thousand, 4.1 thousand and 2.6 thousand units, respectively). The domestic UAZ (1.9 thousand units) finishes the TOP-5.

The leader of the model rating in the segment of corporate sales of passenger cars in January-March 2023 was LADA Granta with a result of 5.8 thousand units. In addition to it, the top five of most popular models includes: Geely Coolray (3 thousand units), LADA Niva Travel (2.3 thousand units), Chery Tiggo 4 (1.8 thousand units) and LADA Niva Legend (1.5 thousand units).
