Chery is considering the possibility of localizing production in Russia

Chery continues to explore opportunities and proposals from the production sites in order to select the best solution for the localization project in Russia. Zhang Guibing, President of Chery International, announced it, by adding that different ways of cooperation are being considered: Chery's own plant, a plant on a partnership basis. According to the results of the first quarter, 20,388 Chery cars were sold in Russia, which is 2.7 times higher in compare with the same period last year, experts of AUTOSTAT agency reported with reference to the data of JSC "PPK"*. As a result, Chery remains the leader among all foreign automakers in our country.
