Small-tonnage Compass vehicles will appear in May 2023

Trucks Vostok Rus (formerly DK Rus) plans to start sales of new Compass 5/6 commercial vehicles with a gross weight of up to 3.5 tons and up to 5.6 tons in May 2023. They will be equipped with 4-cylinder diesel engines KAMAZ-580 with a volume of 2.2 liters, a power of 122 hp and with a torque of 320 Nm, as well as a 5-speed manual transmission, the company's press service reports. As noted, Compass 5 model with a gross weight of up to 3.5 tons will allow you to move on public roads and enter the territory where traffic is prohibited for heavy trucks. As a category B driver's license is enough to drive the new Compass 5, the model will be in demand not only among companies, but also among private entrepreneurs.

Recall that the first Compass trucks rolled off the production line of Trucks Vostok Rus in July 2022. At the moment, in Naberezhnye Chelny, at the Trucks Vostok Rus plant, the production of new Compass 9 with a gross weight of 9500 kg, Compass 12 with a gross weight of 11990 kg with the possibility of installing various options for superstructures has been launched. Depending on the transport tasks facing the client, Compass chassis can be equipped with refrigerated, isothermal or manufactured goods vans, an onboard platform, a CMU, a tow truck, a garbage truck, a fuel tanker, a dump body, a multi-lift, etc.
