Half of automotive equipment in 2022 was assembled at three plants

In 2022, Russian car plants produced 610.4 thousand vehicles. In a detailed review of the results of the last year, the experts of "AUTOSTAT" agency noted that in the structure of car production in our country, almost half (49.8%) accounted for only three enterprises: "AVTOVAZ", GAZ and "Avtotor". The largest share in the Russian automotive industry belongs to AVTOVAZ (30.9%). We can say that almost every third car in 2022 was produced in Tolyatti.

And GAZ (10%) accounted for every tenth. Approximately every eleventh car left the assembly line of Avtotor (8.9%). As for other automakers, there are four enterprises in our country with a share in the range of 5-8%: KAMAZ (7.4%), Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Rus (7.2%), Haval Motor Manufacturing Rus (6 .3%) and UAZ (5.7%). Renault Russia, LADA Izhevsk and Volkswagen Group Rus have a share in the total volume of production of vehicles ranging from 2% to 4%, while Toyota Motor, Nissan Manufacturing Rus, URAL, PSMA Rus and PAZ - from 1% to 2%.
