UAZ presented a new bakery van based on Profi

Russian UAZ dealers have begun accepting orders for a new modification of the commercial Profi - a van for transporting bakery products. The cost of the model is from 1 million 815 thousand rubles, the press service of the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant reports. The van is based on a welded steel frame of a profile design. The walls are made of steel sheets with wood elements.

The compartment is equipped with a natural ventilation system. Four doors with an opening angle of at least 120 degrees are equipped with reliable mortise-type locking devices. Special guides allow you to place up to 112 trays inside for transporting bakery products. The range of modifications of the bakery van includes an all-wheel drive version based on the UAZ "Profi", as well as a rear-wheel drive version with dual tires on the "Polutorka" chassis. The model is equipped with a 2.7-liter ZMZ Pro engine with 150 hp, which works in combination with a 5-speed manual transmission.

According to the results of the first quarter of 2023, 731 UAZ Profi commercial vehicles were sold in Russia, which is 5.6% higher in compare with the same period last year, experts of the AUTOSTAT agency reported with reference to the data of JSC "PPK"*. As a result, Ulyanovsk truck took sixth place in terms of sales among the most popular LCV models in the Russian car market.
