New bus sales grew by 7% in March 2023

At the end of March, 1,416 new buses were sold in Russia, which is 7% higher than in the same month of 2022. This is reported by the experts of the agency "AUTOSTAT" with reference to the data of JSC "PPK"*. Slightly more than half (51%) of this amount belonged to the domestic brand PAZ. Thus, in the first month of spring, sales volume of new "PAZ" was 724 units, which is 32% higher than in March last year. Next in the ranking there are two more Russian brands - LIAZ (166 units; -10%) and NEFAZ (110 units; -52%).

The TOP-5 also included Belarusian MAZ (99 units; -10%) and the domestic Volgabus (90 units; +6%). In contrast to the brand rating, the mark of 100 sold buses in March 2023 was overcome by five models. The first three positions there were occupied by representatives of the Pavlovsk Automobile Plant - PAZ 3205 (365 units), PAZ 3204 (205 units) and PAZ 4234 (153 units). In addition to them, the top five with the same results included LIAZ 5292 and NEFAZ 5299 (110 units each).

As for the 1st quarter of this year, 4,156 new buses were sold in our country during this period. This is 10% higher than in January-March 2022.
