05 julymore infoThe experts of the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT" in the framework of the survey of the state of the market of new passenger cars in Russia decided to see how the shares of brands have changed in this market, depending on the countries of origin.
In the first spring month, almost 70 thousand new passenger cars were sold in Russia, experts of AUTOSTAT agency reported with reference to the data of JSC "PPK"*. And this figure is 11.4% less than in March last year. Experts noted that every month the situation in the Russian car market is improving. So, in January of this year, the decline was 59%, in February - 43%, and now it's 11%. Given this trend, in April the market should show growth at all, which, apparently, can last for several months.
In the TOP-10 of the market following the results of March, there are six Chinese, two Korean, one Russian and one Japanese brand. Leadership is still retained by the domestic LADA, followed by four "Chinese" - Chery, Haval, Geely and EXEED. Next in the brand ranking are the Korean Kia and Hyundai. In the top ten there were also the Chinese OMODA and Changan, and between them - the Japanese Toyota.
