Russian dealers have new Hyundai Creta crossovers

Russian dealers brought 2023 Hyundai Creta crossovers from the UAE. Prices for the model range from 2.5 million to 2 million 741 thousand rubles, Rossiyskaya Gazeta writes. The cars are equipped with a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine with 115 hp, which works in combination with an IVT variator and front-wheel drive. At the same time, two "off-road" modes of traction control electronics are available - for sand and mud.

It is worth noting that imported Hyundai Creta differ by the design of the front from the cars previously produced at Hyundai plant in St. Petersburg. The crossover received a frameless grille and vertical headlights, and a different lower bumper cover became a change in the rear of the car. Wheels can only be 17-inch. The equipment of the model, among other things, includes LED-optics, cruise control, rear-view camera, multifunction steering wheel, large-screen multimedia, air conditioning, panoramic roof, electric folding mirrors, keyless entry, engine start with a button. Recall that earlier Hyundai Creta crossover was produced for the Russian market at the Hyundai plant in St. Petersburg.

In March 2022, the company stopped production due to a shortage of components due to a break in supply chains. According to unofficial data, the government of St. Petersburg is discussing a possible sale of Hyundai plant with Astana Motors from Kazakhstan. As for the production site of Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Rus in Shushary (former General Motors plant), St. Petersburg authorities plan to open a large-scale educational center for training industrial personnel there.
