BYD e2 hatchback appeared in Russia at a price of 2.2 million rubles

The BYD e2 electric hatchback appeared in the Russian car market, which is not officially represented in our country. Dealers from Moscow and St. Petersburg estimated the novelty at 2.2 - 3 million rubles, and the seller from Blagoveshchensk asks 2.4 million rubles for this car, writes Gazeta.Ru. The car is equipped with a 95 hp electric engine that rotates the front wheels. According to the automaker, the range on a single charge is 360 km. In terms of dimensions, the BYD e2 is very close to the Volkswagen Golf hatchback: the length is 4240 mm, the width is 1760 mm, the height is 1530 mm, and the wheelbase is 2610 mm. The cabin has a media system with a 10-inch display that can be rotated by 90 degrees. The BYD e2 equipment, among other things, includes airbags for the driver and passenger, power windows, multifunction steering wheel, media system, air conditioning, parking sensors. Recall that BYD was founded in 1995, and in 2003 began to produce cars.

In the 2010s, a manufacturer from the Middle Kingdom announced plans to become the leading brand in the field of electric vehicles in the world.
