Dealers brought Toyota bZ4X electric crossover to Russia

Russian Toyota dealers have started the sales of Toyota bZ4X electric crossover, which is not officially represented in our country. Prices for the novelty range from 4 million 600 thousand rubles to 5 million 850 thousand rubles, Rossiyskaya Gazeta writes. In the basic version of Toyota bZ4X, it has a front axle drive and an electric engine with a capacity of 204 hp, an all-wheel drive modification of the electric crossover produces 218 hp. The torque is 266 and 337 Nm, respectively. The power plant is powered by a 71.4 kWh battery manufactured by Panasonic, which can be charged up to 80% at the fast charging terminal in half an hour. The base Toyota bZ4X has a WLTP range of 559 km, the second motor reduces autonomy to 540 km.

Acceleration time to 100 km / h is 7.5 s. for the single-engine version and 6.9 s. at the twin-engine. Toyota bZ4X electric crossover is based on the e-TNGA platform specially developed for BEV vehicles. The model is comparable in size with RAV4 crossover: the length is 4690 mm, the width is 1860 mm, the height along the antenna fin is 1650 mm. But thanks to the stretched wheelbase, the interior with an almost flat floor in the back row is comparable in space with Camry. As previously reported by "AUTOSTAT", Russian dealers started the sales of SUV Toyota Land Cruiser 78, which is not officially represented in our country.

Under the bonnet of the car there is a 4-liter engine with 228 hp, which works in combination with a 5-speed manual gearbox and all-wheel drive. Recall that in September 2022, Toyota Motor announced the closure of a plant in St. Petersburg due to the impossibility of the rhythmic supply of necessary components. Currently, the Ministry of Industry and Trade is considering the issue of transferring this enterprise in favor of the subordinated FSUE "NAMI".
