Sales of SAIPA cars will start in Russia from June 2023

Best Motors Company is engaged in the certification of cars of the Iranian SAIPA brand and the formation of a dealer network in Russia. Best Motors General Director Alexander Stepanov said at a press conference organized by TASS agency that Quik hatchback, as well as Saina and Shahin sedans, the main models of the Iranian automaker SAIPA, will be the first to go on sale. Currently, cars of these models are to be delivered to Russia for certification tests, which are planned to be completed for at least three months. Sales of SAIPA cars in the Russian market are planned to be officially launched from June 2023, before which time Best Motors expects to supply a lot of 1,000 cars to the dealer network. According to Alexander Stepanov, prices for SAIPA models will vary from 1 million to 1.7 million rubles.

The official guarantee should be 3 years or 100 thousand kilometers. In the future, the cross-hatchback SAIPA Atlas is expected in the Russian market, as well as a new crossover, which is not yet presented even in the Iranian market. In addition, it is planned to supply SAIPA pickups to Russia. The cooperation agreement between Best Motors and automaker SAIPA is designed for 3 years, according to which 45,000 Iranian-made cars are planned to be sold in Russia during this period. At the same time, the sales plan for the first year is 10 thousand cars, and the dealer network should be 120 car dealerships. According to Alexander Stepanov, the parties are considering the production localizing of SAIPA cars in Russia.

As noted, SAIPA is an automaker that independently produces up to 98% of components for its models, including engines and transmissions (including automatic transmissions), as well as ABS and airbags.
