Two new OMODA crossovers will appear in Russia

OMODA model range in Kazakhstan and Russia will be replenished with two new crossovers - the compact OMODA 3 and the flagship OMODA 7, which are expected from local dealers no earlier than 2024. This became known during the closed online conference "OMODA Kazakhstan", in which the portal "Chinese cars" took part. Thus, the company will not be limited by the C5 crossover, its electric version, as well as the S5 sedan. The junior crossover OMODA 3 is a restyled version of the well-known in Russia Chery Tiggo 2, but with the PRO prefix.

In China, the car will be sold under the name Chery Tiggo 3x, and it will enter the Russian market under the OMODA brand. The flagship crossover OMODA 7, which passes under the internal index TJ-1 / T1EJ, will receive two versions. One is provided for the parent brand Chery, and the second will appear under OMODA brand. It is the latter option that is intended, including for Russia. In addition, at the presentation of OMODA Kazakhstan, a new line of OMODA Jieku cars was announced, which today includes two models - Jieku 7 and Jieku Lan.

The name is temporary and is used only in China. Cars of this family will be positioned slightly above other models of the brand and will receive hybrid power plants. Recall that at the moment OMODA lineup in the Russian market is represented by the OMODA C5 crossover. The car is available for order, both with front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive, as well as with two types of power units.
