Ural Automobile Plant raised its production plan for 2023 to 15,000 trucks

Ural Automobile Plant plans to produce more than 15,000 trucks in 2023. This was announced by the General Director of the enterprise Pavel Yakovlev, according to whom, in 2022, 9825 trucks were assembled, 9938 units were sold. Thus, in the current year, Ural plant can increase the production 1.5 times in compare with the previous year, Interfax agency writes. Earlier, in December 2022, Mr.Yakovlev reported that the company plans to produce 13.8 thousand cars in 2023. According to the CEO, due to the production growth plans in 2023, revenue is expected to increase by 49% in compare with 2022.

In addition, this year the company plans to increase almost 4 times the costs for investment projects, updating the machine park, modernizing and expanding production, and introducing innovative technologies. About 12.4 billion rubles are provided for these purposes. Recall that the plant "Ural" has launched a five-year investment program worth more than 20 billion rubles. Most of the investments will be directed to the creation and organization of serial production of axles of modern design for trucks and road construction equipment. In addition, 502 million rubles are provided for the creation of a line of heavy non-wheel drive trucks, and 219 million rubles for the organization of the production of superstructures.
