Sales of automotive vehicles grew by 19% in Russia for the last week

For the period from March 13th to March 19th (week 11), 2023, 18,296 new vehicles were sold in Russia. According to the experts of the agency "AUTOSTAT" with reference to the data of JSC "PPK" *, this is 19% higher than a week before. More than a quarter (77%) of the total number of sold vehicles were passenger cars, with 14,127 sold units in the last week. 13% is owned by trucks (2,370 units), while the remaining 10% is shared between LCVs and buses (1,560 and 239 units, respectively). It should be noted that all four segments of the automotive market have positive dynamics in compare with the previous tenth week. Thus, cars showed growth by 17%, trucks - by 16.5%, LCV - by 42.5%, and buses - by 2%.
