AVTOVAZ disclosed sales plan for LADA cars for 2023

AVTOVAZ expects to sell at least 370,000 LADA vehicles by the end of 2023, with a production plan of just over 400,000 vehicles. This was reported to the Interfax agency by the president of AVTOVAZ, Maxim Sokolov, by explaining that the difference between the production plan and sales includes the cars required to replenish the stock of the plant and dealers. The entire Russian car market, according to him, is expected to reach approximately 800,000 vehicles in 2023. Meanwhile, in March, the head of AVTOVAZ expects a slowdown in sales of LADA cars in compare with February, as some of the customers who wanted to buy a car in March, due to the end of the state program of preferential car loans, hurried with the purchase.

According to his forecast, about 21 thousand cars will be sold in Russia this month against 23.4 thousand units in February. At the same time, the company's production plan for March exceeds 27.6 thousand units. Recall that AVTOVAZ recently launched its own recycling program, which is valid when the car is taken out of service, against the cost of a new car of LADA Granta family. At the same time, the benefit when buying a new LADA Granta 2023 is 70 thousand rubles, when buying a LADA Granta 2022 - 80 thousand rubles, the press service of the automaker reports. One of the conditions of the LADA recycling program is that the car handed over to the dealer must be at least 8 years old and have been owned for at least a year.
