AVTOVAZ keeps the volume of export

On totals of 2008 AVTOVAZ exported over 106 thsd cars, which practically corresponds the index of 2007 (106, 9 thsd cars). The deliveries of Lada cars grew in a range of countries.
So, there were sold over 60 thsd Lada cars to Ukraine last year, which exceeds the index of 2007 on more than 20%. Almost 11, 5 thsd cars were delivered to Azerbaijan (+1, 3%), over 8, 9 thsd cars - to Uzbekistan (+ 39, 3%). The biggest market of sales of AVTOVAZ is still Germany the export of Lada cars to this country grew by 4, 6% in 2008 (in comparison to the previous year); the sales of AVTOVAZ cars at the German market exceeded 2 thsd cars during the last years.
26 companies are importers of Lada cars in over 30 countries of the world in 2008. These are over 550 dealers in all regions of export. AVTOVAZ also continued to work at enlargement of its outside markets. In summer 2008, 500 of Lada 2170 cars were sent to the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea, over 1 thsd of these cars are planned to be delivered to this country in 2009. In November 2008 there was signed a report between AVTOVAZ and corporation Kubalse, which assigns to the intention of sides to sign an agreement on delivery of over 2 thsd Lada cars and spare parts to Cuba in 2009. AVTOVAZ also negotiated with potential partners from countries of the Near East (Syria, Egypt and Israel) and Africa (Ethiopia, Algeria and Morocco).
