Experts called the most common car models in Russia

5 domestic models and 5 foreign ones entered the TOP-10, which accounts for one fifth (20.3%) of the whole Russian car parc. Experts came to this conclusion by compiling a model rating of cars based on their number. Recall that according to the agency "AUTOSTAT", as of January 1st, 2023, there were 45.39 million cars in our country.

The most common model among them is LADA 2107 sedan. There are 1.53 million of such cars registered. The top three also included Korean Kia Rio (1.03 million units) and the LADA 2106 (1.01 million units). The three-door SUV LADA 4x4 "Niva" (958 thousand units) did not reach the mark of 1 million units a little. Hyundai Solaris occupies the fifth position in our rating - 925 thousand units of these cars run on Russian roads.

This is followed by the top ten LADA 2110 (782 thousand units), Renault Logan (776 thousand units) and Ford Focus (748 thousand units). And the TOP-10 of the car fleet is finishes by the hatchback LADA 2114 Samara-2 (747 thousand units) and Toyota Corolla (713 thousand units).
