Sales of Kaiyi E5 sedan for 1.96 million rubles began in Russia

AvtoSpetsCentre has opened the first Kaiyi dealership in Russia, where the new Kaiyi E5 sedan is available. The price of the model in the richest configuration Luxury is 1 million 959 thousand rubles, the dealer's press service reports. Recall that the production of new items was launched at Avtotor Kaliningrad plant in January 2023.

Kaiyi E5 sedan, first introduced in China in the summer of 2021, shares the same technological platform with the Chery Arrizo 7 sedan. Its length is 4.66 m, the wheelbase is 2.7 m. Under the bonnet of the car, a non-alternative 1.5-liter turbo engine with 147 hp is installed (210 Nm), which works in combination with a continuously variable variator and front-wheel drive. The manufacturer allows the use of AI-92 gasoline, the maximum speed of the sedan is 210 km / h. Fuel consumption in the combined cycle is within 9.8 liters per 100 km.

The saloon of the Kaiyi E5 sedan is distinguished by a multimedia system with a horizontally oriented screen, a touch-sensitive climate control unit, two USB connectors and a 12-volt outlet. The rear passenger seat has a 60:40 folding function. As part of the adaptation to Russian operating conditions, Kaiyi E5 sedan received not only a modified suspension, but also additional “warm” options. Especially for the harsh Russian climate, the bottom and thresholds are additionally treated with a special anti-corrosion compound in the conditions of the manufacturer.

As AUTOSTAT previously reported, in the future, Kaiyi lineup in Russia will be replenished with compact crossovers Kaiyi X3 and X3 Pro, and in the middle of the year - with the flagship X7 Kunlun. In general, in 2023, Avtotor plant in Kaliningrad plans to produce 30,000 Kaiyi vehicles.
