According to AUTOSTAT agency, in February 2023, Russians purchased 394.3 thousand used cars. This is 4.6% higher than in the same month of the previous year. The agency's experts also noted that the secondary market shows the growth for the second month in a row. Recall that in January it grew by 7%. There are no cardinal changes in the brand rating yet. The leader is still domestic LADA (86.5 thousand units), which accounted for almost 22% of all re-sales at the end of winter. Of the foreign cars in the secondary market, Japanese Toyota traditionally excels (46.1 thousand units) with a share of about 12%. This is followed by the Korean brands Hyundai and Kia, which have almost the same figures (22.4 thousand and 22.2 thousand units, respectively). Japanese Nissan finishes the top five (20.4 thousand units). In addition to the listed brands, Volkswagen, Chevrolet, Renault, Ford and Honda are also in the TOP-10 in February.

Most brands of the top ten show positive dynamics, but some still "gone in the red." Thus, LADA (-0.9%) and Chevrolet (-4.4%) showed a slight drop in resale volumes in compare with the result of a year ago. And the largest growth was noted by Honda (+26%).
