AVTOVAZ resumed sales of off-road SUV LADA Niva Bronto, which is produced by a subsidiary of PSA VIS-AVTO JSC. The novelty is offered in two versions - Lux and Prestige - at a price of 1 million 175 thousand 900 rubles, the press service of the automaker reports. The Luxe package includes metal bumpers, roof rails, wheel arch extensions and 15-inch alloy wheels with special tires with a developed tread and an outer diameter of 29 inches. In the Prestige version, the exterior is complemented by the original grille and plastic bumpers, sill protection, plastic wheel arch linings and fog lights. The design features of LADA Niva Bronto, created on the basis of the three-door Niva Legend, are the presence of self-locking helical differentials in the front and rear axles, as well as the main pair with an increased gear ratio of 4.1.

In addition, Niva Bronto has an improved body geometry (clearance 240 mm, increased travel of the front and rear suspension), reinforced rear axle, modified shock absorbers. Under the bonnet of LADA Niva Bronto, a 1.7-liter gasoline engine is installed, developing 83 hp and 129 Nm of torque. The SUV is equipped with permanent all-wheel drive with the ability to lock the center differential and connect a low gear. As it became known earlier, LADA Niva SUV will soon receive new gasoline engines, which will become available for the model as part of a limited series. Thus, the 106-horsepower engine is new only for LADA Niva, and this is a 1.6-liter 16-valve engine familiar from LADA Priora. Power unit with a capacity of 126 hp is planned to be produced at the LADA Sport enterprise, where a 1.8-liter engine with a capacity of 145 hp was previously produced for LADA Vesta Sport based on a standard 122-horsepower engine. Sports versions of LADA Niva will be equipped with a standard transmission.
