AVTOVAZ reduced the composition of the board of directors after the departure of Renault from Russia

Board of Directors of AVTOVAZ, which Renault representatives left in 2022 after the French company left the capital of the enterprise, was reduced from 15 to 7 members, follows from the company's financial statements. According to the Interfax agency, since June last year, the chairman of the council has been Deputy Prime Minister - head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Denis Manturov, his deputy - the general director of KAMAZ PJSC, Sergey Kogogin. The board of directors also includes the president of AVTOVAZ, Maxim Sokolov, the former head of FSUE NAMI Sergey Gaisin, the head of the council of the association of engineering enterprises "Cluster of the Automotive Industry of Samara Region", Eduard Vaino, the director of the department of conversion activities of Rostech Maxim Nagaitsev and the head of the trade union of AVTOVAZ Sergey Zaitsev.

Immediately after Renault closed the deal to leave the Russian Federation in May 2022, transferring its stake in AVTOVAZ to FSUE NAMI, eight representatives of the French concern left the board of directors: the former chairman of the board, executive vice president of the Renault Group, Denis Le- Here, Laurent Davi, Senior Vice President of Renault, Lionel Jaye, Vice President of Dacia-LADA Business Unit, Director of Partnerships and Management of Renault s.a.s. Philippe Géol, Vice President for Corporate Finance Thierry Cognier, former President of AVTOVAZ Nicolas Maure, Vice President for Production of Power Units Jérôme Moinard and former General Director of CJSC Renault Russia, transferred to Moscow and now renamed the Moskvich Automobile Plant, Jan Ptachek. Until the middle of last year, they were replaced by seven Russian managers: Sergey Gromak, vice president for external relations and interaction with shareholders with AVTOVAZ, Dmitry Mikhailenko, vice president for personnel and social policy of the company, Evgeny Shmelev, executive vice president for engineering, executive director of the State Scientific Center FSUE NAMI Anton Zhilinsky and Head of the Center's Corporate Clients Department Denis Kasyanenko, as well as General Director of Fibet-NAMI Advanced Engineering LLC Alexey Patsev and Executive Vice President for Production and Supply Chain Management of AVTOVAZ Mikhail Ryabov. All seven left the council by early June 2022.

In addition to them, four other members who occupied the chairs before the departure of Renault also dropped out of its composition. Thus, the number of the board of directors of AVTOVAZ by 2023 was reduced to 7 people. The shareholders of AVTOVAZ after Renault left the Russian Federation are FSUE NAMI (67.7%) and the state corporation Rostech (32.3%), which control the company through LLC Lada Auto Holding.
