AVTOVAZ plans to produce up to 100,000 LADA Vesta cars in 2023

AVTOVAZ plans to produce up to 100,000 LADA Vesta cars in 2023, if the market situation allows. This was stated by the company's president Maxim Sokolov, by noting that in order to meet demand, the enterprise does not exclude even the introduction of additional Sunday shifts on line No. 1, where the flagship model is produced. According to the head of AVTOVAZ, with the expansion of the range of configurations and the appearance of a 16-valve engine on LADA Vesta, starting from June, this line is expected to operate at full capacity, which is 60 vehicles per hour.

At the same time, 40 of this number will be for LADA Vesta, the remaining 20 - for LADA Largus (the production of this model should resume in the autumn). Today, the level of localization of LADA Vesta is about 85%, however, with the advent of modifications with automatic transmission in 2024, this figure will slightly decrease. Recall that on March 3rd, AVTOVAZ began serial production of LADA Vesta NG at a production site in Togliatti. Prices and configurations of new items will be announced closer to the start of sales, which will take place in May this year.
