Moskvich cars from March 3, 2023 will be available in 23 cities of Russia

The compact crossover Moskvich 3 and its electric version Moskvich-3e will be available at all official dealers from March 3rd. This was announced in his Telegram channel by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, by adding that 52 points of sale and service have already been opened in 23 cities of Russia. According to him, in 2022, the first 600 cars left the assembly line of Moskvich car plant, 200 of them with an electric engine. This year it is planned to produce 50 thousand cars, including 10 thousand electric vehicles, and in 2024 production volumes will be doubled.

Recall that at the end of December 2022, Moskvich cars went on sale. Moskvich 3 compact crossover costs 1.97 million rubles, Moskvich 3e electric crossover costs 3.5 million rubles. According to Denis Tsepelev, Development Director of Alarm-Motors Group of Companies, Moskvich's production plan of 50,000 and 100,000 vehicles for 2023 and 2024, respectively, looks quite realistic, given the need to replace car-sharing fleets in metropolitan areas, as well as the potentially high interest from retail buyers.
