AVTOVAZ increased sales by 5% in Russia in February 2023

AVTOVAZ sold 23,437 LADA cars and light commercial vehicles in the Russian market in February, which is 4.7% higher than a year before. According to the results of the first two months of 2023, Russian LADA dealers sold 40,905 cars, which is 1.1% higher than the figure for the same period of the previous year. AVTOVAZ's bestseller in February is still LADA Granta, whose sales, according to the automaker's data, increased 2.6 times in compare with the previous year and reached 16,257 vehicles.

The second place in the sales volume is occupied by LADA Niva Travel SUV with 3858 cars (+64.7%), the press service of AVTOVAZ reported. LADA Niva Legend SUV was chosen by 2,774 buyers, which is 83.5% higher than a year before. Maxim Sokolov, President of AVTOVAZ, notes that the high sales result in February was largely due to the existing government programs to support demand, and the company hopes to resume them as soon as possible to keep the dynamics of the recovery of the Russian automotive market.
