GAZ presented the cargo version of Sobol NN

Gorky Automobile Plant showed a cargo version of new Sobol NN. According to the Quto.ru portal, sales of on-board vehicles and isothermal vans of this model will begin in April 2023. Sobol NN light trucks are primarily interested in grocery delivery services that need a more maneuverable and compact vehicle than GAZelle NN. Sollers Argo can become the main competitor of the novelty. The light version of "Sobol NN" has no cargo compartment upholstery, plywood flooring, and the double passenger seat has been replaced by a single one. Passport carrying capacity is only 135 kg, and the actual one exceeds a ton. You can buy such "Sobol NN" for 2 million 695 thousand rubles. Also, GAZ will establish mass production of minibuses at its facilities, which are now manufactured by third-party finalizers for individual orders.

In the meantime, 7-seater passenger-and-freight “combi” are available to customers, as well as all-metal vans with a gross weight of 2.5 and 3.5 tons. Today Sobol NN is offered with a non-alternative Chinese-made Cummins ISF 2.8 diesel engine, which works in combination with a domestic 6-speed manual gearbox and rear-wheel drive. In the future, the model should have a Russian 2.5-liter diesel engine and an all-wheel drive modification. The basic equipment of the Sobol NN car includes a sprung driver's seat, but there may not be airbags, as the technical regulations allow this. The list of options includes a media system with a 9-inch touchscreen, four USB connectors and two 12V sockets, heated mirrors, seats and windshield, an electromechanical parking brake and a start-stop button.
