More than 7.5 thousand chargers for electric vehicles operate in Russia

In Russia, there are more than 7.5 thousand chargers for electric vehicles and 35 EZS operators are involved, the press service of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation reports. According to Andrey Belousov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, in 2022, as part of the Concept for the Development of the Production and Use of Electric Transport in Russia until 2030, 439 "fast" charging stations were created in 12 pilot regions.

"This year there are already 34 pilot regions that will receive subsidies for the commissioning of "fast" charging stations. By 2024, the number of charging stations in Russia only within the framework of the initiative should be about 3 thousand units," he added. First Deputy Minister of Energy Pavel Sorokin noted that now the Ministry of Energy, together with the Ministry of Economic Development, is putting into operation other 872 electric filling stations in 39 regions. "In order to create sustainable demand for electric vehicles, it is first necessary to create all relevant infrastructures, including electric charging stations.

The main support measure is an inter-budgetary transfer in the amount of 2.7 million rubles, it is provided as a subsidy for the construction of one electric charging station. About 1.8 million rubles of this amount is provided as a subsidy for the purchase of equipment, and other 900 thousand rubles - for technological connection," he specified.
