AVTOVAZ intends to supply LADA Niva SUVs to the Middle East

AVTOVAZ plans to export up to 20,000 LADA vehicles in 2023, while at the same time starting active steps to develop new markets for itself. These are Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, said the president of the company, Maxim Sokolov, in an interview with the Rossiya 24 TV channel. Thus, LADA Niva family of SUVs, both Legend and Travel, is planned to be delivered to Asian markets and the countries of the Middle East. According to him, next year the export of LADA cars will begin to recover actively. In 2023, Belarus and Kazakhstan, as well as, possibly, some other CIS countries, will remain the main external markets for the enterprise. As previously reported by "AUTOSTAT", during 2022, AVTOVAZ retained the number of export countries - these are 17 states, to the markets of which 17246 LADA cars (-52%) were delivered.
