In the price range up to 1 million rubles, there are practically no options left on the new car market, except for several LADA models. As Alexander Surkov, director of the "Used cars" direction of Pragmatika Group of Companies, informed the agency "AUTOSTAT", at the moment, used Volvo S60 cars of 2012-2013 with mileage of 120 thousand km and more fall into the price segment up to 1 million rubles, Volkswagen Passat, Jetta and Tiguan of the same years and a little younger, Mercedes A- and B-class of 2011-2013 of release (runs with rare exceptions of 120 thousand km and above), Chinese cars Chery Tiggo 3 and 5, of 2015-2017 of release (runs 50-150 thousand km), "In this range, cars with low mileage, such as Volkswagen Polo, Skoda Rapid, Hyundai Solaris, Kia Rio, Renault Logan, Sandero and Duster 2016-2019, and also LADA cars manufactured in 2018-2022 (mileage 50-100 thousand km).

These cars are quite common, dealers have body parts for them, and the cars themselves do not have "childhood" diseases," the expert notes. In turn, Yuri Savichev, head of sales of used cars at Avtomir Group of Companies, does not recommend to buy "premium" German, European, American brands older than 10-13 years in the budget up to 1 million rubles. In his opinion, it is better to make a choice in favor of Korean (Kia Ceed, Rio Sportage, Hyundai Solaris, Sonata, Santa Fe) and Japanese brands (Mitsubishi ASX, Outlander, Nissan Tiida, Teana, Toyota Camry, Corolla) proven in terms of reliability and low maintenance costs.
