Kazakhstan car market grew 2.6 times in January 2023

According to the results of January, 10,083 new cars and commercial vehicles were sold in Kazakhstan, which is 2.6 times higher than a year ago. According to the Kazakhstan Auto Business Association (AKAB), despite the difficulties with logistics and the ongoing semiconductor crisis, official dealers manage to meet demand and satisfy consumers with variety. Chevrolet remained the leader in the Kazakhstan car market last month, the result of which was 3,203 cars (a 10-fold increase). Second place is held by Hyundai, which increased sales by 57.9% to 2,237 cars. The third place is occupied by Kia - cars of this brand were sold in the amount of 1,723 units (an increase of 6.3 times). Chery follows with 652 sold cars. This time Toyota finishes the top five, the dealers of which sold 603 vehicles (+21.3%).
