For the fifth week of 2023, about 20 thousand vehicles were purchased in the Russian Federation

According to the results of the fifth week of 2023, the market volume of new automotive vehicles in Russia was 19,862 units, experts of AUTOSTAT agency reported with reference to the data of JSC "PPK" *. Experts also noted that this is the highest figure this year. Almost 80% of the total number of purchased vehicles were cars, which for the period from January 30 to February 5 (the fifth week of the year) sold 15,856 units. More than 11% of the market was occupied by trucks (2263 units), and the rest approximately 9% was divided between LCVs and buses (1346 and 397 units, respectively). It is worth noting that with each week of 2023, the car market shows growth.

So, for the fifth week it grew by 6% (in compare with the fourth), and at the same time, the positive dynamics affected all market segments. Thus, cars showed growth by 6%, trucks - by 11%, LCV - by 7%, buses - by 1%.
