The new coupe-crossover EXEED Yaoguang will appear in Russia in mid-2023

The new premium coupe-crossover EXEED Yaoguang, which is already available in the Chinese market, will reach our country by mid-2023. In the Russian market, the novelty will be presented under a different name, and the configuration and prices will be announced closer to the start of sales, the press service of the automaker reports. In the EXEED lineup, the crossover coupe will sit between TXL and VX models.

The new EXEED Yaoguang, the production version of AtlantiX concept, features by bezel-less grille design, as well as a fighter-cockpit-style sliding roof design. In combination with a rear spoiler and taillights, this solution visually increases the car's width and gives it a low-slung effect, emphasizing its recognizable appearance. With a wheelbase of 2815mm, the EXEED Yaoguang has the best interior space in its class. The interior of the EXEED Yaoguang features by 24.6-inch curved screen, D-shaped multifunction steering wheel, electronic shifter and diamond-cut physical buttons.

The interior features by perforated nappa leather seats. In terms of electronic driver assistance systems, EXEED Yaoguang is equipped with autonomous parking function, 21 basic ADAS functions and 11 additional high-tech assistants. As AUTOSTAT previously reported, in addition to Yaoguang, EXEED sedan may appear in the Russian market in 2023, the details of which have not been disclosed yet. In the future, EXEED line will also be supplemented by hybrid models and electric cars.

According to the results of 2022, 12,127 EXEED cars were purchased in Russia, which is 4.5 times higher than a year ago, experts of the AUTOSTAT agency reported with reference to the data of JSC "PPK" *.
