The most popular Renault models have become known in 2022

At the end of 2022, 40,844 new Renault cars were purchased in Russia, which is 69% lower than a year ago, the experts of the AUTOSTAT agency reported with reference to the data of JSC "PPK"*. The most popular Renault model in the Russian market was Duster crossover with 13,468 vehicles (-67%).

Second place was taken by Renault Logan sedan, which was chosen by 10,297 buyers (-66%). Renault Sandero hatchback showed the third result - 6377 sold cars (-72%). This is followed by the crossover Renault Kaptur (5488 units; -70%). Renault coupe-crossover Arkana finishes the top-five of Russian bestsellers, sold in the amount of 5208 units (-71%).

Recall that in May 2022, Renault announced its withdrawal from the Russian market and the transfer of its assets in our country to state ownership. An important condition is the option for Renault to repurchase its stake in AVTOVAZ, which can be exercised within the next 6 years.
