Sales of GAZelle NN urban version began in Russia

In Russia, sales of GAZelle NN urban version, which received a single busbar, began. In a 7-seater version, such all-metal van costs about 3 million rubles, the Quto.ru portal writes. Recall that before that, GAZelle NN was equipped only with gable drive axles, on which four wheels were installed in pairs. However, after the Gorky Automobile Plant began the production of Sobol NN, GAZelle NN also appeared with a single tire. For some tasks, the presence of only one ramp is preferable: in particular, when the vehicle often carries light loads inside the city.

Also this vehicle maneuvers better, consumes less fuel, and also saves on tire fitting. In addition, due to the smaller width of the wheel arches, the usable volume of the body increases. The single-sided GAZelle NN differs from the related Sobol NN by elongated rear overhang, as well as a hinged rear door: they can swing open 270 degrees instead of 180. Otherwise, the models are identical: they are equipped with 150-horsepower Cummins diesel engines and 6-speed manual gearboxes gears. Over time, the engine range of GAZelle NN with single busbar should be replenished with gasoline and bi-fuel options.
