Crossover Geely Monjaro is expected in Russia in the spring of 2023

Russian Geely dealers are preparing to start sales of new Monjaro mid-size crossover. According to the Chinese Automobiles portal, citing car market participants, the novelty should appear at dealers in March-April 2023. The price of the flagship crossover is still unknown, but it is obvious that it will be more expensive than Tugella, which is offered from 4 million rubles. Recall that in December last year, Geely certified the new Monjaro crossover for the Russian market.

As follows from the VAT, Geely plans to sell in Russia only all-wheel drive Monjaro, equipped with the familiar Tugella 2-liter petrol "turbo-four" with 238 hp capacity, which works in combination with classic 8-speed "automatic" Aisin. The entire suspension of crossover is completely independent: there are standard MacPherson struts in front, and a multi-link in the back. Brakes are exclusively disc and wheels are designed for 18-, 19- and 20-inch tires. Geely Monjaro equipment includes ERA-GLONASS emergency response system, electrically adjustable and heated side mirrors, LED optics, climate control, heated windshield and washer nozzles, keyless entry with an engine start button, 10 or 12 touch instrument panel, 3 inches, media system with 12.3-inch display, acoustics with 8 speakers, front and rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, as well as a whole range of active safety systems and driver assistance. With this model, Geely will enter D-SUV segment in the Russian market for the first time.

Geely Monjaro mid-size crossover has the following overall dimensions: length - 4770 mm, width - 1895 mm and height - 1689 mm. The model is based on the CMA modular platform, developed jointly by Geely and Volvo subsidiary.
