Moskvich plant produced the 2,000th car

Moskvich Automobile Plant, which launched the mass production of Moskvich 3 crossovers and its electric version on November 23rd, 2022, has produced the 2,000th car. This was announced by the capital's mayor Sergei Sobyanin. One of the released Moskvich 3 crossovers was presented by the mayor as a housewarming gift to the 100,000th Muscovite who moved under the renovation program, Interfax reported. Recall that at the end of December 2022, Moskvich cars went on sale. Moskvich 3 compact crossover costs 1.97 million rubles, the Moskvich 3e electric crossover costs 3.5 million rubles.

At the first stage, cars will be sold by 11 dealer centers in Moscow, and during 2023, as the production volumes increase, Moskvich dealer network will expand to major Russian million-plus cities. It is planned that in 2023 at least 50,000 cars will be assembled at the plant using the SKD technology, including 10,000 with an electric engine, in 2024 - at least 100,000 cars, including 20,000 with an electric engine. At the same time, 50% of this volume will be produced using SKD technology, other 50% - using SKD technology.
