Experts of the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT" conducted another survey "Safety of the residual value of the car" (Residualvalue) and identified models of Chinese brands that have the best residual value in the 3rd quarter of 2022. As the survey showed, among the cars from the Middle Kingdom, Chery Tiggo 4 crossover, equipped with a 2-liter engine and automatic transmission, is the leader by this indicator. Three years after the purchase (which was made in the 3rd quarter of 2019), the Residual value indicator for this model is 135.9% in average.

In other words, the owners of the 3-year-old Chery Tiggo 4 crossover can sell it for higher price than it was bought. In second place among the "Chinese" there is Changan CS35PLUS, equipped with a 1.6 liter engine and an "automatic" transmission. The RV index of this crossover is 132%. The crossover Brilliance V3 finishes the top three with a 1.5-liter engine and automatic transmission - its result is 129.5%. As the experts of the agency "AUTOSTAT" noted, such high results of the residual value (over 100%) are associated with a sharp increase in car prices, which was observed in the spring of 2022.
