The production of passenger cars fell by 79% in November of 2022

According to Rosstat, for 11 months of 2022, 410,000 cars rolled off Russian assembly lines, which is 66.9% lower than in the same period of the previous year. Meanwhile, 24,000 cars were produced in November, which is 78.8% lower than a year before. It is worth noting that Motorinvest Lipetsk has begun the production of a new Evolute i-JOY electric crossover. Moskvich automobile plant resumed the production of cars, and the compact crossover Moskvich 3 became the first model. In addition, the Aurus Company has launched the mass production of a new luxury off-roader Aurus Komendant at an enterprise in the Alabuga SEZ.

The production of trucks in January-November was 126 thousand units, which is 24.2% lower than the figure for the same period of the previous year. For the last autumn month, 12,000 trucks rolled off Russian conveyors, which is 35.7% lower than a year before. It should be noted that KAMAZ reduced the production by 8.3%, having produced 3,809 trucks. In addition, Sollers Alabuga plant has begun the production of new models of light commercial vehicles under Sollers brand - Atlant and Argo.
