KAMAZ will reduce the production by 1% in 2022

The KAMAZ production volume in 2022 will decrease by 0.7% and reach 43,828 vehicles. The general director of the company announced it, by adding that 39,849 trucks have already been produced for 11 months of this year. He also spoke about the volume increasing of the investment program to 300 billion rubles and increasing net profit to 5 billion rubles in 2023, the TASS agency writes. Earlier it was reported that KAMAZ plans to sell about 50,000 vehicles in Russia in 2023 and increase its market share, which is currently at 44%.

Among the directions for the development of KAMAZ in 2023 there is the resumption of production of the KAMAZ-54901 mainline tractor and K5 generation KAMAZ heavy dump trucks on a new component base. Work will continue on the development of hydrogen transport, unmanned vehicles, as well as the development of a line of electric vehicles and the implementation of other projects relevant to the country.
